The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena

Overall I really enjoyed this one; it is a good story although its pacing could have been more even. It starts well and ends well, but throughout the middle third, I felt the story was going round in circles, repeating information and clarifying the latest theories, making it drag a bit. It all got a bit complicated and manic.
However, the ending is a riot: the final chapters have more revelations than you can shake a stick at – some a bit out of the blue, some not – and the final scene really made it for me! I would be interested in reading more from Shari Lapena.
