Cupcake-palooza!
One of my favourite things to bake is cupcakes: a) they (are supposed to) taste great, b) they're relatively easy to make, and c) they're fun to decorate. These are some of my favourites:

This year we made £145 for Comic Relief...and I came second. Again. Actually, this was quite an achievement since this year's entry looked like a dalek had humped a jellyfish and made a baby... (Triple layer Victoria sponge with whipped cream, raspberry jam and white icing...and some terrible piping)

I finally completed my friend's birthday cakes: two triple-layer chocolate sponges with ganache and cream and strawberries or chocolate sweets. I have also made an iced cream- and jam-filled Victoria Sponge, decorated with strawberries and moulded white chocolate : And a white chocolate ganache sponge:
