British Manor Murder by Leslie Meier
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This book makes for pleasant enough reading, but it’s more like an insight into English country life with the inconvenience of a couple of bodies than a full-blown murder mystery. The characters are ok, if a little thin, and it is well-written, but the ending is unfortunately quite an anti-climax.
It’s a quick read, and a very gentle, cozy mystery, and if you’ve enjoyed Leslie Meier’s books before, I’m sure you will like this. Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for the ARC of British Manor Murder. 2.5/5
