Buried Secrets by T.J. Brearton

Buried SecretsBuried Secrets by T.J. Brearton
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Unfortunately this book really did not do it for me, although I seem to be in the minority.

I found it all pretty dull, with far too much description of banal things and some very awkward dialogue. Brett and Emily were both a bit wet; the only character I liked was Russo and I’m not quite sure what the point of Morales was. I did work out the ‘twist’, but it was quite a good one so there’s a star for Russo and a star for the twist.

I’m sorry I didn’t enjoy it more. Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read the ARC of Buried Secrets.
