How to Kill Friends and Implicate People by Jay Stringer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
With thanks to NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for the ARC of How to Kill Friends and Implicate People which is exciting and gripping and great fun.
It reminded me of early Christopher Brookmyre, one of my favourite authors, in its style, language and black humour. The plot is a complicated but enjoyable romp through Glasgow’s criminal underbelly, where everyone is out for themselves and there is very little honour among thieves. I liked (most of!) the lead characters, particularly Sam and Fergus, and I’m looking forward to going back to read the first in this series.
