Bloody Nora! That was a rollercoaster and a half: the twists and turns and revelations kept coming, right up to the killer final chapter.The characters were great: enigmatic and three-dimensional – and each one of them eminently slappable at least five times throughout the book!
The story is incredibly clever and well-plotted. Every now and again I suspected what was going on but the ending was jaw-droppingly, gut-wrenchingly shocking. Although the story took a route I didn’t expect from the genre, this only serves to make it stand out from the crowd of domestic-noir psychological thrillers.
