Fifty-Fifty is another thrilling, high-concept courtroom drama mystery from Steve Cavanagh. The book is just so cleverly written, in terms of both the central mystery and the surrounding elements. The structure, the twists, the suspense: all spot on. I enjoyed reacquainting myself with Eddie and all the central characters and, despite her being part of the opposition, I adored Kate Brooks and performed a mental fist pump for her every minor victory!
Be warned: Part 4 of the book is so tense, I don’t remember breathing once!
I loved how the pieces came together, the way every cast member played their part and the ending, which sets up the next instalment nicely. I cannot recommend this enough for thriller lovers everywhere and cannot wait for Steve Cavanagh‘s next Eddie Flynn book. Huge thanks to the publisher for my copy of Fifty-Fifty.
