#TWIB This Week in Books – 25 April 2018

Hosted by Lipsy Lost & Found, This Week In Books is a weekly Wednesday post covering what you have read recently, what you are currently reading and what you will be reading next.Divider

In the last couple of weeks, I have read:

Murder in Mesopotamia by Agatha Christie on audiobook. A new narrator for me this time: Anna Massey – she has a wonderful voice but it did take me a while to get used to her Poirot, but eventually I found it quite hypnotic!

I was on the Blog Tour for the surprising and gripping Beautiful Liars by Isabel Ashdown.

I loved the tricksy debut from Chris McGeorge, Guess Who.

Another thrilling debut was Now You See by Max Manning.

And, completing my hat-trick of debuts, was the light-hearted Catfished by Stella Bixby.

Actually, I think Block 46 might also be Johana Gustawsson’s solo debut which is very impressive but even that great book was beaten for me by her second: the incredible and mighty Keeper, which I will probably be recommending to everyone I meet for a while yet.

I am currently reading:

The Craftsman by Sharon Bolton. Eep, one of my faves and satisfyingly creepy so far!

After the Funeral by Agatha Christie, from Audible.

Next on my #TBR pile:

In one order or another…

How about you? What are you reading?

  1. I’m SO jealous of “The Craftsman”. It is at the very top of my wish list, but have not been able to procure a digital ARC anywhere. Perhaps because I live in Canada????
